SWEAT Summer Series Week 3 — Yin For Hamstrings
SWEAT yin yoga for hamstrings

Say hello to week three of the SWEAT Summer Series! Over the last few weeks I’ve been sharing with you new sequences, including a Yin with a bolster, and some heart openers

I don’t know about you, but my hamstrings are always SO tight, especially if I haven’t given them much love, movement or attention in my practice recently. As soon as I take time to give them a good old stretch I instantly feel so much lighter, less tense and significantly calmer!

I was once told that having tight hamstrings signified being up-tight in your life. I’m not sure about the logic or accuracy of this, but I do know it feels better after giving those old boys a decent dose of vitamin Yin.

Be sure to sign up to my newsletter to be the first to get notified when I upload the new sequences!

Note: Take it easy if something feels painful. Come out of the pose. These postures are intended to be helpful not harmful – pleasurable not painful. Listen to your body!

Love and light,
