SWEAT Summer Series Week 3 — Yin For Hamstrings
Say hello to week three of the SWEAT Summer Series! Over the last few weeks I’ve been sharing with you new sequences, including a Yin with a bolster, and some heart openers.
I don’t know about you, but my hamstrings are always SO tight, especially if I haven’t given them much love, movement or attention in my practice recently. As soon as I take time to give them a good old stretch I instantly feel so much lighter, less tense and significantly calmer!
I was once told that having tight hamstrings signified being up-tight in your life. I’m not sure about the logic or accuracy of this, but I do know it feels better after giving those old boys a decent dose of vitamin Yin.
