How Do I Do What You Do?
I'm often asked "How can I do what you do?".
A simple question, with a seemingly impossible answer.
Everyone seems to want a quick-fix these days. They want a one-word fix-all. They want the formula to life, and they want it now.
So when I say that it's a hard question to answer, because there seems to be no single fix or formula, people are often left quite disappointed or annoyed that I haven't been able to provide what they were seeking.
For this inconvenience, I am sorry.
But apologies get tiring, and after excusing my inability to help satisfy the question, I began giving up on even attempting to answer.
For this, I am SINCERELY sorry.
However, in my absence and ignorance, I have discovered that perhaps there IS an answer after all. I'm not saying it's the answer you may WANT to hear. But it is an answer nevertheless.
So you ask: "How do I do what you do?".
My response: To do what I do, you need to do what YOU do.
To do what I do, you need to forget what everyone else is doing, let go of judgement, comparison and expectations and indulge in your own truth.
Stop trying to do things to please others.
Stop trying to imitate other people.
Stop trying to live, act and even breathe in a way that fits into a mould.
The best way to do what I do, is to forget what I do entirely and follow your own passions, curiosities and desires.
This is a golden rule in life.
Regardless of what you want to do, be or achieve. To find and feel true success and contentment, one must be able to simply do what they love and do it with intention and kindness.
Love and light,
